Saturday, January 16, 2016 7:40am. Time to head out to TEDx Langley. I feel a cold coming on, it’s pouring rain, cool, and still dreary enough to keep my car lights on. I’m ok with all of it, because I know what awaits me at my destination and I’m totally pumped for what the day brings.
This is the second TEDx I’ve attended, the first being TEDx West Vancouver. In a previous post I talk about my favourite three speakers, in fact this morning I just updated the post to include the three videos. Take a peek and watch, you won’t be disappointed.
Now back to TEDx Langley. I will update this post to include the videos when they become available, until then I will share the two talks I find myself thinking most about today.
Friday was one of those days at work, I left feeling defeated. Pretty sure I was absolutely meant to sit in the TEDx audience yesterday because I felt these two speakers were talking directly to me. Both speakers shared personal experiences through storytelling (EA’s being apart of the story – whoot! whoot!), weaving witty humour into what is such an important topic, inclusive education.
